Lisa Philippart, LPC
I provide psychotherapy and counseling services for individuals and couples. I am a licensed professional counselor, with over ten years experience working with adults and couples.
I graduated from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, with a Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Services. I am certified in Geriatric Counseling and Distance Counseling, and a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, the National Board of Certified Counselors, and the Christian Counseling Association.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic, based on the needs of my client. I most often use cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy. My areas of expertise include grief and loss, end of life issues, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and OCD.
